How can I completely take over a purchased Telegram account (tdata)?

Hello all,

I bought several Telegram accounts from a seller a few days ago, which were sent to me as Tdata together with the number.

I packed the tdata folders into separate Telegram Portable folders (1x tdata file per Telegram Portable folder) and logged in. Then I removed all active sessions and activated the 2FA authentication with a password that only I know.

If I now load the original tdata folder from the ZIP archive into an unused Telegram Portable folder and try to log in from there, it works without a 2FA query.

Why? Have I made a mistake in my thinking? Do I have to change the phone number?

I would be very grateful for your help :)

You might need to change the phone numbers of the accounts. Ideally, same country as originally on it or as intended.

Change Phone Number (If possible)
Change username (if it has one)
Password lock it
2FA it
Log into it at least once a week. (This week ensure, noone can override & reset your pw/2fa lock) if you cannot change your phone number.
 
You dont have to use 2FA twice when logging in to the same session. The supplier still has the session file you got - so you better login to a NEW session (with a clean Telegram portable or any other) and remove the previous active session. Its also possible to login without the 2fa, but he will have to wait 7 days before the 2fa get removed and you will get notified by Telegram first.
 
okay i got the method.

open the session file by him.
download telegram x from playstore.
login there, and terminate the previous session, and set 2fa.
if termination is not possible due to 7 days criterion, so now from the previous telegram session file, go to settings, and logout.

This is a smart play!
 
1. Enter the account with a new portable and end all other sessions.
2. Encrypt the account.
3. Change the user name.
4. Change the phone number if possible.
