Hourly rate to teach Wordpress?

That would also depend on where in the world you are; I would charge 500 - 600 once off here in the USA in Florida but many countries are different.

I always try to get my client into long term contracts and commit them to me. I would make it an initial 6 session with each seesion 2 hours long. After that a once a month one hour follow up service or on demand service. I would upsell and repackage this serice into a one year contract. If you explain to the client that there will be questions, unexpected errors, problems that one cannot foresee, he will be very interested to have a long year support...

How much? Where are you from, where is your client from? Depending on that, work out how many hours you going to need and repackage it into a one year contract with the intital few hours to actually show it and after wards the once a week or on demand support...
