I jumped on the HOT train early this month. I bought 11000 tokens for around $280 costing me 0.0255 per coin
But ever since hitting an all-time high 0f 0.031 it kept going down.

It's at $0.018 right now. And I'm confused. Should I exit or HODL? And anyone who knows the reason for this?

I have been following the news but didn't find anything out of the ordinary.

I have no clue about HOT but HODL ist the answer to most problems

Good rule of thumb.. don't sell after significant drops in price and don't buy after significant increases.

There are exceptions for sure, but typically the way that new traders most consistently lose is by not abiding by this rule.

Look at the price movements of most cryptos over a 4H/1D scale.. almost always oscillating. So the probability of an increase in price and uptrend is highest after prolonged decreases in price.

When you move to 1W scale or larger, this starts not to apply so much.

You bought so many tokens based on what? hype train?

Never follow the trains...
Just buy coins after some analysis and HOLD them for months/years (depends on project)

let's just say it was the hype and the use case
I always study the project at least for a bit and HOT is really strong in use case so maybe after an year or so it will rise but I am looking for short term gains

I bought 14 millions HOT at ICO for $2000
Sold months later at 4x.
And now it's doing 100x, damn...

today i just sold at 87% profit...Hot was hot!! I knew it was pump and dump, exited faster...Now it is again in 15%.

Four times your invest in such a short time is still great.
You made your money and moved on. Don’t dwell on it or things like that will drive you mad.
Imagine paying all them bitcoins for a pizza.

This you?

It stayed for more than 2 years under $0.002 and all of a sudden you concluded "oh yeah, $0.025 is a fair price, lemme snatch some"
