** HOT ** Apple Unveils The New iPhone 6S

iPhones are sick, they are so much more responsive, so easy to use, so many apps they are far superior to any other phone I've used. IMHO.

the only flaw is since the 6 they are copying the size of the Samsung- big mistake.

What I'm saying more than a lack of something that I need, is the lack of needs creation. Steve Jobs (or his team at the time) was champion for creating something that people would need, but those people never thought of it. When they brought the iPod it just changed the music industry. When they brought the iPhone and the Appstore, same.

They now assume their leadership and they are not taking much more risk. They have huge pressure from the stockholders to get astonishing results each quarters. They gave up their part of risk & innovation, and their focus is clearly towards their production line costs & profit margin. I'm not saying i wouldn't do the same, but I'm nostalgic of those times when I was AWWW in front of steve jobs presenting an amazing feature or product evolution.

I happen to agree with this statement. I think it is just a matter of time before Apple stops selling the #1 smartphone. I am not saying the iPhone 6S is not superior to Samsung but I do think Samsung will overrun Apple pretty soon. What Apple lacks currently is innovation - a big chunk of the features currently available on the iPhone was either there from Steve Jobs days or brought to the market after other competitors already had it. Apple reminds me of the story of Blackberry - it won't happen overnight but it's going down that road..

I've had iphones for years. They're just so easy and practical for what I need. I keep hearing about samsung, I might have to try them out.

Owning the new iPhone "first" is one of the lamest claims to fame you can make. I think the whole thing is ridiculous.

So true. I don't see myself buying a newer iPhone solely because of this fact. I tend to use only email/Skype/browser on my phone... would prefer to have one that doesn't take up my entire pocket and make me look like an idiot every time I take it out.

Can anyone explain the appeal of BIG phones? Are they significantly easier to use? Do you watch a lot of media, etc.?

Seriously.. who buys Samshit... If you buy an Android phone go for Nexus or One Plus

For me, smaller phones are better. The Samsung phones look huge in people's hands..

I prefer Android and HTC is my fav, though I'm using Samsung Note 4.
It is quite big :( will get rip off from it soon.

Exactly, I don't get it.
If I want to do something that requires a big screen I'll use PC/Laptop. Anything else I can do on my phone....
The bigger the phone us the less mobile it becomes.

Well, i would very much preferred to go for The samsung s6, because of how apple products goes. But this newly released iphone totally caught my attention, just like they always do, when the Apple company discovers their products is slacking behind, they immediately upgrade.

I don't find it inconvenient. When I'm in the metro / bus / plane / walking checking news/ emails, chats, skype etc, I just find a bigger screen to be comfortable, yet still mobile.

I dont have the 6 plus, only the 6 tho. Cant talk for the bigger screens.

For some reason samsung is never a yay for me. I too have been an apple user from long, and I never have the urge to switch it to samsung. Go for iphone instead of samsung, I would say

Apparently, the iPhone 6S comes with 2GB of RAM (instead of 1) which means this is the first time Apple increased RAM in it's smartphone in a long time.

A basic list of new features is as follows:

> 70% faster CPU
> 90% faster GPU
> 4K video
> 3D Touch (pressure sensor tech)
> 12 MP back facing camera (up from 8 MP)
> 5 MP front camera
> 2X LTE / Wifi speed

For me performance is critical issue. If the reports of the 70% speed bump is true then it should be almost 50% faster than Galaxy 6S CPU.

The difference in the size of the S6 and 6S is only about 5 mm.

What i'm disapointed about is the smaller battery.
-> 4K video -> milk battery
-> 3D Touch -> milk battery
-> Higher res camera -> milk battery
-> faster connection -> milk battery

Yet they downgraded the battery.

I make an effort to convince my friends and family to switch from iphone to samsung.

Ive converted 13 people so far (yes i keep count lol) and they are all happy they switched to the samsung.

Mind sharing the main benefit of Samsung over Apple? Is it the price or screen size? As for me price / screen size is not a critical factor.
