do you really want to be the guy with a samsung though?
Samsung is going to be the first phone with 6GB of ram.

What I'm saying more than a lack of something that I need, is the lack of needs creation. Steve Jobs (or his team at the time) was champion for creating something that people would need, but those people never thought of it. When they brought the iPod it just changed the music industry. When they brought the iPhone and the Appstore, same.
They now assume their leadership and they are not taking much more risk. They have huge pressure from the stockholders to get astonishing results each quarters. They gave up their part of risk & innovation, and their focus is clearly towards their production line costs & profit margin. I'm not saying i wouldn't do the same, but I'm nostalgic of those times when I was AWWW in front of steve jobs presenting an amazing feature or product evolution.
the only flaw is since the 6 they are copying the size of the Samsung- big mistake.
So true. I don't see myself buying a newer iPhone solely because of this fact. I tend to use only email/Skype/browser on my phone... would prefer to have one that doesn't take up my entire pocket and make me look like an idiot every time I take it out.
Can anyone explain the appeal of BIG phones? Are they significantly easier to use? Do you watch a lot of media, etc.?

it is suppose to be 70% faster CPU than the iPhone 6 and 90% faster in terms of GPU.

Exactly, I don't get it.
If I want to do something that requires a big screen I'll use PC/Laptop. Anything else I can do on my phone....
The bigger the phone us the less mobile it becomes.
Apparently, the iPhone 6S comes with 2GB of RAM (instead of 1) which means this is the first time Apple increased RAM in it's smartphone in a long time.
A basic list of new features is as follows:
> 70% faster CPU
> 90% faster GPU
> 4K video
> 3D Touch (pressure sensor tech)
> 12 MP back facing camera (up from 8 MP)
> 5 MP front camera
> 2X LTE / Wifi speed
For me performance is critical issue. If the reports of the 70% speed bump is true then it should be almost 50% faster than Galaxy 6S CPU.
The difference in the size of the S6 and 6S is only about 5 mm.
I make an effort to convince my friends and family to switch from iphone to samsung.
Ive converted 13 people so far (yes i keep count lol) and they are all happy they switched to the samsung.
