And 2 more times at night my site was down... it's just horrible.
That makes more sense than just blanket-dissing the whole company. Maybe you were in an overcrowded shared server.
What's the tool you're using to track downtime?
These guys will nullroute your entire hosting account whenever you get DDoS even if it's a really small one, and basically locking you in buying a VPS at several times the price.
This hosting is a joke, like many others.
Since it's alternating down/up/down/up/down/up precisely I'm guessing Hostwinds is blocking/unblocking the IP doing the testing.
Connection timeout often indicates a firewall rule kicked in.
I'm using 2 atm. What's the tool you're using to track downtime?
yes, it tracks server downtime. What is that and is there a way to track the downtime ?
Totally agree... that's why I'm switching shortly. There are much better options out there which are probably way cheaper and better since you have a simple website which doesn't utilize a lot of bandwidth.

But that over 3 hour downtime, the site was actually down as I personally tried.
I actually have a number of notices in gsc about downtime as well (from before).
Normal sites dudeare you guys using them for illegal activities or normal sites..???
