Hostgator and private whois information

Hello. I registered domain/hosting at Hostgator a couple of weeks ago but stupidly hadn't set my domain privacy at Private so my whole whois info is all over the web publicly. I turned it ON just now and wait for the invoice to be generated, pay it and have it set.

My question is about all these sites that have already published my info publicly.
Is there any way to hide/edit/delete my information on them?
Do these kind of sites generally update? So when my info changes to private, they change too?

Please let me know because this has been really, really frustrating for me!

Your whois information will eventually update give it up to 24 hours.

Actually no it wont be updated on "all" since some of them like who.is keep history of course if you pay them 50$ they will remove your history.
If you have the budget you will can delete it from almost everywhere

Most of this got resolved as the databases got updated.
However my info still remains at two certain sites:

statuslite.com
ip4.bz

Does anyone know how I can remove those two?

There is no way to get it deleted.I know how it feels,happened to me.Just let the domain expire and some sites will drop your data.

However,the sites that provide who is history for domains may keep it.

The sites that keep history will keep your info up unfortunately for you in this case.

Are you concerned because of PBNs or because it is a site you're not wanting to be associated with?

For PBNs it should be fine, but other places that have indexed it will keep it for historical sake.
