Home Dedicated Server help

I am looking to build my own home dedicated server to run Jarvee with the possibility of 100+ accounts. I am not sure if this is the best place to post this but if you could kindly redirect me if otherwise. I am very new to all of this.

Does anyone have any experience building a home dedicated server? I have google fiber and can set a static ip for the server myself apparently. I am planning on using it for a instagram growth business and from what I've read it is against their noncommercial service policy - however you are allowed to use dedicated servers for gaming... Does anyone have experience with google fiber as an isp?

Also I have never used remote access so I have no experience with it. Would I be able to access my server and use jarvee (change settings and etc) from my macbook?

any advice would be greatly appreciated.
