Hello experts!
Have you experienced a significant number of traffics drop recently?
I have an electronics based niche site, and I had around 10 keywords in the first place and many in 1-5th positions.
From around 5th December, my keywords started to lose their rankings and traffic dropped significantly.
I lost around 70% traffic in 10-11 days! :weep::weep::weep:
After the EAT update, I tried to fix the Trust issue, and the number of visitors increased up to 35%.
I have no idea about the most recent update (what the hell is this about!).
Earning is decreased considerably!
Absolutely no idea what to do now! And what to improve.
N.B: All of my contents are money content and a minimum number of informative contents, and so far there was no issue in ranking so far.
Did you experience the same recently?
Would you please share your strategy, what are you doing now?
Any kind of suggestion is cordially appreciated!

Maybe it's not because update, maybe you got harder competition. Build up your website, add more content, backlinks...

If this is a review-based niche website, and if your contents have a lot of affiliate links, I've got something important to tell.

As per recent observations, many of my clients who're doing niche websites on an 80-20(money-informative contents) ratio, are getting penalized.

And SEOs around the world had figured out the exact reason behind that.

The Do's
- Create a healthy mix of contents(Informative contents, Listing Contents, Money Contents, Infographics etc.)
- There are tons of low-competitive informative keywords that are still not under the radars of giant niche sites. Create contents around them and earn quick ranks.
- Make your author reliable in Google's eyes. Contribute some free guest articles in other blogs and strengthen the social presence.
- Create as much niche-relevant in-depth contents as possible. This will earn recurring visitors on a constant basis.

The Don'ts
- Don't saturate your website with money contents and contents with affiliate CTAs in them.
- Don't do aggressive anchoring, and aggressive backlinking from the same referral domains over and over.
- Don't stick to the organic traffic only. Show up on your niche-based social communities and create a social traffic flow coming in.

If you NEVER did any BH tatics than it's mostly likely 1 of 2 things

1. You have to many product reviews and affiliate type content on your site. Make a more helpful site not one that screams "I just want your money"
2. Competition! The niche your in has tons of comp and so people could just be writing more helpful/resourceful content than you on those specific topics
