Zarrak Design Review:
November 5[SUP]th[/SUP] I canceled my third Fiverr order in a row regarding logos for prices ranging from $15-55 for shit poor quality. I?ve had $50 sitting on Fiverr for a year now, and have yet to find a living soul that provides a service on there that is worth a damn ? reviewers be damned.
November 6[SUP]th[/SUP] I decide to go back to BlackHatWorld for my graphic design. I?ve had quite a few failed attempts here as well, although with BlackHatWorld ? I never get a refund, I usually just have to leave unsatisfied since I technically ?get what I paid for?. There are a few exceptions though ? when you find people like yourself who actually love to do hard work and excel at their craft, but they haven?t gotten consumed with greed?yet?Kayzne was one of those designers in my opinion. I have no clue what he?s doing now, but that guy had a gift for grasping exactly what the people wanted...
November 7[SUP]th[/SUP] I added Zarrak on Skype after going through every single design thread on BHW. Zarrak had the style I liked the best that I feel is very modern, universal, and can lean towards either gender targeting depending on just slight variations from neutral (*important psychology*). The price point was right, I bought the Pro package at $35 wanting more variations to the mix ? in my experience, the first ones almost always suck. Then after spending 45minutes banging my head against the desk trying to figure out what the hell I wanted out of a logo at 4 o?clock in the morning - the project was submitted and he was on his way.
November 9[SUP]th[/SUP] Monday Morning I wake up to see a professional HTML email from Zarrak with my attached six logo variations. He did a wonderful job interpreting exactly what I was looking for in the very first image ? I was impressed. It wasn?t perfect ? It was missing that extra something that helped make a feminine logo not turn off a man from browsing or feeling like he was buying his girlfriend tampons at the local market. The other five variations were only simple changes from the first interpretation ? I quickly realized I could have gone with the lower package and gotten the same quality, but was still happy at seeing the results.
I asked Zarrak for some more revisions without having specifics yet of what I wanted changed. I couldn?t put into words ?make the men feel less awkward even though the women love it? ? so Instead I grunted something like ?can I have a few more variations on the first design? since I knew the first design was where all his inspiration went.
November 18[SUP]th[/SUP] This Morning I got an email with 3 more variations of the first design ? and to my delight the first revision of the first logo was spot on! He rounded out the edges and increased the masculine profile of the logo and the lines while compensating what had been a brown tone for masculinity into a red tone so it wouldn?t be too harsh. I?m not going to share all the versions ? the final design is what counts.
Summary: Get it while its cheap ? this guy won?t be here for long.

Suddenly, he got busy. Wasn?t online. Would send a message here or there, but it?s not like I was hounding him either ? I don?t have time for that.
