Anyone have any advice for getting your media/product/etc. on to high traffic blogs in different industries?

Are you talking about having the administrator of a blog talk about your media/products or are you talking about placing links in comments. If it's the former, you can try just interacting with that person's blog and social media accounts. Comment on the things they write. When you do offer intriguing content not just "great post" or "that's interesting". Disagree with them if its relevant and add value. Follow their social media accounts and interact with them. After you have been noticed, then you could mentioned your products, media or whatever else you want them to showcase. This is also a fool proof way to get high quality backlinks to your site.
