High Google PR

maybe just to clear things out, PR is not so important when it comes to SERP results and conversions, but other human beings or companies definitely use PR as one of the deciding factors if they want to do business with you

No you don't, i've got 100's of domains that kept their Pagerank or rose in Pagerank after buying them so not sure why you think that.

Besides, if you are in the "Link Selling Business" it doesn't matter. You buy a domain for $100, sell $500 worth of links in a day and move on to the next. If it drops from PR5 to PR3 a few months down the track during next update it makes no difference.

If you are building links every day to a handful of domains in the hopes of selling some links a few months down the track it's hardly a business. It's more like making a few dollars to try and cover costs for your effort.

I've bought a few expired domains, but always lost the pagerank...

For example my recent one two weeks ago... it was a PR3 dropped domain of a beer brewing company.

I think its important to note that I placed different content on the website than it was before I acquired it. Frankly, I don't see other option than this, but could this be the case PR got dropped?

Another thing is that I bought most of these domains in the "closeout" for $5, so that is after first auction that went without bids. Backlinks were still there in yahoo explorer when I bought it and most of them still are LIVE right now when checked. Google had the domain indexed, but no backlinks were indexed by google at the time of purchase.

What's your secret?

There was an E-book on her about how to get a PR 7 website and it looked pretty legit. You needed 20-30 of your own domains though lol.

Until 4 it's easy, for 5 you have to be a little serious. Everything above has to do with really good content in most cases..or let's say good Backlinks.

wait until i release my ebook here at the BST forum i have come up with a good strategy to increase PR in 4-5 months.

That ebook was total crap i feel bad for those who payed for it and i feel lucky we get such crap for free here "All Hail BHW" :target:

ive read a lot of places that if you buy a domain with high pr it will drop to 0 when its transfered over, is this true?

I can get a pr3 or p4 within the first updated. But i have never got a 5 or better...
