Hiding your Identity - How do you deal with that

Hello Folks,

Hope you all are well. To all my friends who own a blog, what do you write in your about us page? Do you reveal who you are or you just represent yourself as a person who is expert in the niche your blog is all about?

I have been doing rounds on many blogs and I find a lot of them have incorrect info or misidentification. Some images of people's headshots are even taken from Google images.

I know visitors come to websites to get the info they need, but I would like to know as to What are your thoughts on Hiding or Showing your identity.

I always hide my info under an alias or the brand name of the site itself. I found an authority looking site the other week that defiantly use thispersondoesntexist. Yet the results they got from their blog are amazing. Upto you. Even in commercial jobs, answering the phone for example, you are allowed to have an alias, if your not happy to use your real name and details.
