I used to be a graphics tutorial writer for many years and love working with photographs, clipart, photo manipulation and digital art. I have been posting on instagram for a few months now and have come to realize that so many of the accounts that show a large amount of activity whether in likes or followers are bot manipulated. Truthfully, that really ruins the vision for this social network site. I am totally frustrated and have joined here because so many of you are savvy and hopefully can come up with recommendations for increased positive feed activity. I work very hard on my photo edits and when I manage to get 150 to 200+ real likes and compare it to a mediocre photo with 8000+ likes in a matter of 2 hours, I know something is haywire. I do this as a hobby not a business, but am competitive in the sense that I do enjoy positive feedback for the work I put into my edits. I really hate having to utilize a bot, but I see no other recourse when viewing the results of other photos. I am totally perplexed that people have to resort to this but it looks like I am in the minority with my thinking. I would very much appreciate any suggestions you may have regarding a simple bot only used for personal use.
