Hi Everyone,

New to the forum and apologies if I make any mistakes. I've used BHW on a few occasions to get answers to questions but this is the first time I've signed up.

I work in a marketing agency, we use a lot of growth hacking techniques to help our clients but we also use a number of conventional techniques too. We're based in the UK.

Something I'm currently struggling with - we use Jarvee (follow/unfollow) specifically. Many of our client acounts are receiving a message alerting them about the problems with 3rd party apps and I feel we may be getting shadowbanned - has anyone experienced anything similar and resolved it or are we seeing the end of follow/unfollow for IG?

Thanks in advance and feel free to say hi.

Hey welcome! I applied for like 10-15 different agencies so far & have one interview tomorrow! Hopefully it all goes well. :)

What’s your experience like working at a marketing agency?

Ah Good luck!

Yeah it's good fun. I've interviewed people for roles, if my two cents are worth anything it's this:

1) To be a marketer play up your analytical and organisational skills (people too often think it's about being creative)

2) Do your homework on the company - understand what they do, who they do it for and the successes they have had, even who their competitors are

3) Prepare questions based on point two - ask about the culture of the company etc. they want you to talk about their stuff as well as about who you are

Hope that helps!

Definitely! Got my interview in a few hours & I’m glad I woke up to this alert!
