It depends on the product and niche. I'm not afraid of spending 3x or more the commission amount to collect data, as it's almost always possible to then optimize the campaign through this data to make it profitable. But in the case of this specific product it was profitable from the beginning, before even optimizing the campaign.

Thanks, I was not active online for more than a year as I had setup an offline business and was focusing almost all my efforts on it.
