I put out a shitty little press release regarding this on CNN's IReport network (avatar. cnn . com /docs/DOC-911462), but I thought I would do a step-by-step here for everyone to read through.
Before you ask:
1. NO we will not tell you who clued us into the GraphSearch algo patterns
2. We will NOT show you example sites we are doing this on. Instaban for us if we spread that shit around.
Therefor you can take this all with a grain of salt, if you'd like, but I am being serious when I say:
Doing the following process will result in some amazing manipulation of the GraphSearch.

So, we knew Facebook was working on a search engine and had some inside info on how it was going to work, but we weren't sure if it was going to be the release of it or not when they announced they were having a 'mystery press conference' a week or so ago. We honestly were not even sure if the search engine we had spoken with people regarding even existed, or if any of the info on how to "rig it" we had was correct.
Luckily for us, it was.
We have created a system that allows us to fuck with the Facebook GraphSearch in a way to help promote your site outside of Facebook as well as promote your own page. It's a little difficult to explain if you haven't had your hands on a beta or testing version of the search, but here is a rough generalization of how it works:
GraphSearch allows you to search for things, using human language, within the networks your feed is connected to. This only works 'fully' if you have a completely open profile, otherwise you just receive information and responses from within your ultra-personalized network of results.
But, you also get Bing results.
A lot of Bing results.
Where there isn't friend, fanpage, or relevant page info to show you, or the Bing results are MORE related to the search, then you see the Bing results. This creates an interesting system where Bing results are suddenly more powerful than Google results - provided you stay within the FB network for your searching - and that will probably only happen at first with a younger subset of the population.
This system is similar to how it works now, except right now it works horribly. Beyond horribly. Its awful.
The new system (GraphSearch) is pretty sexy, I have to say. Especially when it comes to looking for photos - but that is a whole other thread.
What I am going to explain now is essentially how to game the new Facebook graph system, but at the same time it is also how to game the Bing system and avoid Google, because for this to work, you actually have to keep your distance from Google as much as possible.
I am going to list these step by step, and though you may have to wait to try it out, trust me, if you do this right it will shoot you right to the top.
1. Get a Facebook public page, a page page, not a personal page. Make sure it's something you can get shit tons of fans to.
For example: Sexy chicks in swimwear! or Hot Teen Girls! etc etc.
Something that naturally will get tons of hits. Build it up to many many thousands of fans naturally, or get it artifically built up until you gain natural fans rapidly.
Fill it to the brim with content but:
NEVER LINK IT TO YOUR MONEY SITE. DO NOT LINK IT WHATSOEVER TO YOUR MONEY SITE.
2. Get a new domain that is different from your money site to the point it could represent a different brand, but also use the same keywords to be ranked, etc.
For example: If your Domain is BlueWidgets.Net get a domain that is like AzureWidgetsCompany.Com
3. Create content on that site that is entirely different from your money site, but still is going after the same keywords.
Use entirely different articles, different pictures on the sites homepage, and all around different or spun content so it appears to be an entirely different company. This domain we will now refer to as: DOMAIN2
Build keyword anchored links to your MAIN MONEY SITE.
Make sure there are Facebook share and Like buttons on the site. Link DOMAIN 2 as the domain behind the Facebook fan Page you have created even if it is unrelated.
4. Install Google Webmaster Tools on your MAIN MONEY SITE if you haven't already.
Disavow DOMAIN2 and ALL links from it to your page using the disavow tool.
5. Begin building shit tons of links to DOMAIN 2. Shit tons. The kind of links that Google would think were total bullshit but Bing and Yahoo would love. Shit tons and tons and tons. Build it up with tons and tons of articles pointing at it, and all of that other crap that Bing loves. Build TONS of healthy links to it as well. Make sure it has a massive web presence. Treat it as if it is a money site to you, even if it is just lowly DOMAIN 2 - but like a money site you use google-unsafe-methods on.
6. Begin building tons of content that links to DOMAIN 2 and DOMAIN 2 ONLY on the newly created Facebook page.
Even if it is SEXY TEEN GIRLS start throwing in links that do not appear spammy but link to DOMAIN 2.
Start interspersing each sexy post with a sudden post about your keyword and a backlink. Keep building the site up with sexy content for a good while until the site is full of people using it and it keeps growing.
Then, switch it off for a bit. Only post links to DOMAIN 2. If you have access to a fake Facebook account network, have them begin sharing these. A Lot.
7. Switch the Fan Page back into sexy girl mode. Add more fans, boost it up, get it sexy and work it gurl.
8. Create a second Facebook Fan Page for your money site, or begin massively working on your money site's existing Facebook Fan Page so that it is really of good quality.
Begin getting shit tons of natural and artificial likes to that. If you can, post racy content that won't get it shut down but will build up the site with fans. Do this continually until this site is also big. ONLY LINK THIS SITE, EVER, TO MAIN MONEY SITE.
At this point your little backlink map should appear as follows:
DOMAIN 2->Facebook Profile For Domain 2 (Sexy Teen Girls Yeah!)
MAIN MONEY SITE -> Facebook Profile for MAIN MONEY SITE ( Sexy Teen Girls FOREVER! YAY!)[NO CONNECTIONS EVER TO DOMAIN 2]
BOOM:
Sexy Teen Girls Yeah! (Facebook Profile 1 that points at DOMAIN 2) is switched entirely to be a fan page for DOMAIN 2.COM
No more Sexy Teen Girls for the Facebook profile for Domain 2, or, you can randomly add them in later every now and then. The most important part is ALL info for the page now contains information regarding DOMAIN 2.
Now, do the same thing for your MAIN MONEY SITE:
Turn the Facebook profile you made for it into a serious page entirely related to MAIN MONEY SITE and make sure ALL of the page info is in regards to that site.
Now you should have as near top results in results for queries (depending on your niche) in an order similar to this:
1.)Bing Friendly Domain: DOMAIN 2
2.)Facebook Fan Page with a shit ton of likes for DOMAIN 2
3.)Facebook Fan Page for MAIN MONEY SITE
4.)Slightly Bing Friendly (But Very Google Friendly) MAIN MONEY SITE
Now you get 4 results for the Bing and Facebook integrated GraphSearch for your subject, these will be linked/visible to any of the accounts who friended your FanPages or liked your site off the FB network without causing harm to your MAIN MONEY SITE as it exists on Google.
This is super simple and stupid for a lot of people, I understand, but for others this is going to open their eyes up a bit. the resulting combination of Facebook and Bing means that marketing towards Bing is now a more valuable option for those sites that may have been hit by Google updates.
