Help with placing ads on my website

Hi Guys,

Noob here, just created a news website about two weeks ago and I'm looking to to place ads on my website to earn money.
I tried signing up for adsense on my old website but it was rejected so now I cannot use adsense.

Are they any alternative options? or better paying?

All help would be appreciated.
