HELP! What info to provide when buying SEO package?

So i have purchased an SEO package which includes both onsite and offsite seo, could someone please help by answer a couple of questions about what information/details I should be supplying.

They have asked for the usual Google webmaster logins & Wordpress logins, but they have requested my cpanel hosting login - obviously I am very skeptical on providing this information, I have other sites hosted in there too which I am not willing to let them access. Is there any reason they would require access the here?

They don't need your cpanel details. Just set up a new ftp account for them to use which allows them to only see the files on the site they are working on.

To be honest, they might not even need ftp access really with it being a Wordpress site but just backup your site beforehand just in case.

don't give a login id and passwd, instead create a new id and add into the accounts, when they completed, remove these accounts.

Generally speaking an SEO should not need access to your Cpanel. Except under very limited circumstances. If you want a host that segments cpanel to each domain and doesn't allow access to other domains under your account try http://www.site5.com they're legit, used them for years.

Definitely don't see why they would need cPanel or FTP access. If you are using WordPress, they can do everything from within that with no issues. At the very least, create them a limited FTP account with access to only that sites directory and delete the login once they have completed. Be sure to take a backup!

Normally for onsite SEO, you could just seek instructions from them on what needs done so you can do that yourself.

Ended up just doing this and gave him his own WP log in. I'm pretty sure he didn't even do anything onsite but will check after his 1 month is over, and remove the account. Thanks for the tips lads.
