Hi BHW,
I’m Teodor, I run a small web development agency in Romania specialized in AstroJS and custom web solutions.
I launched my website a couple of months ago. The site has a clean, modern design with dark/light mode, smooth animations, and a professional look. On the homepage I present our services (custom websites, web apps, e-commerce), portfolio section, testimonials, and clear contact options. The overall structure feels standard but solid.
Technically I tried to do things right:
Despite all this, I’m getting almost no impressions in Google Search Console. The few impressions I get barely turn into clicks. Google also rejected some indexing requests recently.
I know the UI/UX and backlink portofolio still needs improvements(I’m already working on that), but I suspect something bigger is wrong.
My main questions:
Any honest feedback is highly appreciated, especially from people experienced with new site indexing and technical SEO.
Thank you!

Technically I tried to do things right:
- Custom AstroJS build, very fast, excellent Core Web Vitals
- Proper Schema markup (JSON-LD,breadcrumbs), on most pages
- Internal linking with topic clusters
- 20+ in-depth blog posts(1000-2500 words each)
- Bilingual (RO/EN) with hreflang
- Multiple free tools as lead and backlink magnets
Despite all this, I’m getting almost no impressions in Google Search Console. The few impressions I get barely turn into clicks. Google also rejected some indexing requests recently.
I know the UI/UX and backlink portofolio still needs improvements(I’m already working on that), but I suspect something bigger is wrong.
My main questions:
- Does this type of agency website sound trustworthy and convincing enough for potential clients?
- Any obvious reasons why a technically clean site gets almost zero impressions after 2 months?
- Could AI-generated blog posts be hurting more than helping?
- General advice for new sites to start getting indexed and impressions?
- How do people build backlinks effectively,it feels like a struggle for me personally emailing local newsletters or blogs just to not receive a message back.
Any honest feedback is highly appreciated, especially from people experienced with new site indexing and technical SEO.
Thank you!
