Please, guys! I need your help & suggestions in this matter. I'm struggling because of these Excessively High CPMs!!!

I keep seeing on forums and online groups that the majority of Facebook advertisers usually get an average CPM of $8 to $15 >> ( Targeting USA Conversion Campaigns optimizing for purchases only )

But for me, no matter what I do or change in my ad creatives, adsets targeting, I keep getting any time CPMs between $40 to $60 ( Targeting USA Conversion Campaigns optimizing for purchases only ).

I'm not talking about other campaigns objectives like traffic, engagements, etc.. but only Conversion Campaigns optimizing for purchases because this is my only goal and objective.

So since I know that there are people who manage to get very low CPMs with the same campaign objective in the USA, I'm sure that something is wrong with what I'm doing, but I can't figure it out on my own no matter what I edit.

If you have any suggestions, solutions, or ideas I can try, please let me know because I really need your help!

Thank you all so much.

If you started directly with the purchase conversion and that too to a cold highly targeted audience in a new pixel it will always going to be high until you burn a few thousand dollars with facebook in the US market.

If you don't know US market will always have higher rate than any other country in the world but yeah you can get your CPM's down to a few dollars if you warm up your audience before running a conversion campaign.

Start with a broad audience first and with awareness or traffic campaign. After that dive into purchase conversion objective.

Hope this helps.

Actually, I'm considering your advice. But do you suggest starting with a new ad account from scratch or just continue with the current one till I have warm audiences?
May I ask you what CPM should I aim for? If my product cost + shipping is $73.8 and the average order value is $84
Thank you

You can continue from the same. But you should focus on your CPC not CPM as it won't be relevant here and you will find it higher than usual. And I can't pull a trigger on it but if your CPC is anywhere between 1/3 of your product cost it should be good enough. And as you keep at it, it should go down at some point.

I understand you, but the reason why I asked you about CPM is because my CTR is already above 3% so the only thing I need to focus on to make the ad cost reasonable is the CPM.
