Hey Folks
Recently, i sold some blackberries on eBay ( dropshipping) . PayPal limited my account and they asked me for a tracking number and i gave it to them and it says DELIVERED. HOWEVER, they asked for wholesale invoices, and i gave them invoices. Next morning, i wake up and i receive an email saying " Your account has been closed". I called them to ask why, and they said " Our security measures required us to close the account". I am really pissed off and my business STOPPED because of that. I need help. Can someone help me get a VCC to start a new account since i have no other funding source.

this also happen to me but I only have 20 dollars in my paypal account ..
my account has turned limited...
So I e-mail to them the proofs that needed to lift the limit...
1 day after I send the proof of adress to them..
paypal emailed me that my account has been close for security reason...
I decided to call them and I found out that my account is not fully closed I follow the instruction of
the paypal customer agent
and I found out that the cause of limiting my account is because I use proxy when I access my paypal account... I lifted my the limit in my account...
The lesson that I learned when calling paypal is "dont never ever believe when a customer agent says he/she cannot "UNLIFT" the limit!!!
Coz when my 2nd account get limited i call again paypal.. And the first customer agent that I talked said that the he cant lift limitation in my account he also said "because of security reasons".. And he also said that I need to find for other "service provider" I think other payment processor like alertpay..
I end the the call and dial again to verify if its true that my account is totally blocked...
The next customer agent that I talked is a girl ... she gets my information and I said can you verify if my account limitation cannot be lifted??
She verify it in 2min. of and waiting she said that "I will now lift the limitation in your account..."
Thats it dont believe to the other paypal agent saying they cant lift the limit or blocked coz I think they are only lazy verifying the account..

For the people that say you just shouldn't use paypal at all... Well for some things it's really the only option. You can certainly use other payment options on ebay, but there's a lot of statistics showing that most buyers trust paypal over anything else and so your sales will be higher if you offer it as a payment option. Same thing for a lot of websites making sales, justified or not PayPal has established itself in the public eye as a trustworthy payment method, and a lot of people will only buy if they can use it.
The problem is that PayPal has structured itself so it can operate in some capacity as if it were a bank, without falling under the regulations that real banks actually have to follow.
It's one thing for PayPal to close an account for a terms violation, but quite another thing to do so and keep the money. Even if they were to return the money to the original purchasers, if a seller actually shipped out goods then PayPal just perpetrated a scam on the seller in favor of the buyers. If PayPal doesn't return the money to anyone then they just perpetrated a scam in favor of themselves.
A lot of what paypal does now to peoples accounts in the interest of security, would required a court order before your bank could do it. And in those cases the money would be moved into a government account until it was determined who it belongs to. In no case would a financial institution be allowed to keep money from any closed accounts.
I wish more people that actually have been running legit businesses that had their money stolen by PayPal would start instigating lawsuits against them. If the courts had to start dealing with the situation on the scale that's really going on with PayPal, then they'd be forced to make PayPal start operating within banking regulations or create new legislation to keep them in line.

I have had clients say the same about PP and that's why they prefer a full service merchant account with real customer support that I recommend. Also, I only recommend merchant account providers where I can talk to the CEO personally.
