Ok, so a month after selling a virtual product for 2k I get a notification a buyer issued a chargeback with their credit card company. This is on an account with my soc sec # attached. What should I do? Will this hurt my credit score if I do not pay? I'm in the USA btw. What I usually do is accept payments from a fake paypal then send to my real one (this one) with no bank attached and then from this one to my main account with banking info attached. I deleted my banking info off that other one. I do not have the money to pay this. However, my credit score is 750 with a 100% on time payment history, I don't want to mess that up. Is there anyway to talk paypal into getting rid of the negative balance, anything I can say? I can't produce a shipping confirmation because it was virtual, anything I can do? Please help, I've never had anything bad on my credit report before. I was thinking of making a fake account, paying for a service to it with my main account then moving the money over to my negative account then reversing the transaction to the fake account. What do you think?
