Help on SEO Domain Name

Hi guys, I'm starting on IM and I'm basically following the Google Sniper Manual.

I did the keyword research and I found a good keyword to promote an ebook...

The first SEO thing that google sniper tells is about the domain name...
The best thing is to get the keyword dot com or dot net or dot org... but unfortunatelly the three ones has already gotten...

So, I have a question for you guys... my idea is to put a "the" before the keyword (like "site"), is it a good idea?? Like thekeyword.com
How it affects on the SEO? is it better to put another word after the keyword? like keywordsite.com

Wich one is better?

Do you have another keyword to add in the main keyword that not affect so much on the SEO??

The site that I'm going to do is about to promote a clickbank product.

Keyword alone in domain will be great, but generally no one get that regularly....

if keyword is the keyword for you then its perfectly alright for SEO, you can still make more relevant by placing phrase Keyword with normal Keyword.

eg. health

thehealth the dont have much things to do.
but if you use healthcare, it will be usefull as we have 2 Keywords health and healthcare.

You can rename the pages names also with Keywords except index file.

You it wisely, latter comes under onpage optimization.

I dont think adding the "the" will have any adverse effects. I say go for it.

You can always get creative and target a long tailed version of the keyword too. May be less competition doing that as well.

inserts are no good for seo.
i suggest get your keyword first.
followed by the extra letters.

Actually my keyword has 2 words and it is a good keyword.

when you guys tell me to add an extra word, does it not affect the SEO? because if I analyze de keyword on Markate Samurai with more one word the results are not good.

for exemple:
makemoney is good keyword and when I add another word like makemoneyeasy the results of the MS analyses is bad...

Is it affect?

From my understanding of how the engines work, "thekeyword" should be OK, providing you make it two words as in "the-keyword" or even "i-finally-got-keyword-in-my-url.com".

"make-money" should be better than "makemoney" and "make-money-easy" better than the single word.

I don't know about keyword placement, first or last, in the domain name. But you can always make it first in a multiword domain, e.g. "keyword-at-bobs" or "keyword-cheap".

lol..the seo factor not from url alone, dont worry since many areas that need a hell lot of attention for you in order to wrap the whole seo campaign..try credit card on google, it's visa the number 1, not creditcard dot com, just roll with it, if somebody already take ur keyword domain, it's ok..just pay attention to other factor, just pay attention to the content building using LSI and themed link building..your site should good to go.IMHO

I would say it does not matter a lot, anchor text and content go first. Anyway I will choose to put the extra words behind, this will make your keywords grab more attention and get a higher ctr.
