    I'm a newbie so I would be very grateful for some help please:

    Recently I started a website using wordpress and now I'm stucked inserting widgets (from adnow).
    My problems are that I don't know how to insert the widgets above and bellow a video (1) and before the video starts (2).

    Best regards

    well you can't just put widgets anywhere you want unless your theme is designed for it or you get a custom page builder plugin. Not too sure what you mean about above and before a video starts, can you add to that question?

    I think so, We can try it. You can customize the widget from the themes.
    Enter into your wordpress folder wp-content -> themes -> open What theme you use -> functions.php.
    In that coding you can see the

    function your theme name_widgets_init() {
    'name' -> _('Widget Area', 'Your theme name' ),
    'id' ->'sidebar-1' ,
    'description' -> _(Add widgets here to appear in your sidebar.' , 'your theme name' ),
    }

    copy those functions and paste below it and rename your 'id' for example sidebar-2 and save it.

    You can call that id where ever you want
    Through this
    <?php dynamic_sidebar ('sidebar-2'); ?>

    Register into a widget area by using the above steps,and then follow these to make use,
    Go to Appearance > Customize in the WordPress Administration Screens and click the Widget menu in the Theme Customizer,
    Open the sidebar to which you wish to add the Text Widget,
    Find the Text Widget in the list of Widgets,
    Click and drag the Widget to the spot you wish it to appear.

    Ok.
    Above and bellow a video means that I want users to see the ads if they aren't fullscreen.
    Before a video starts meaning a skippable video ad that a user can turn off after 5 seconds. I don't think I'll find it at adnow. though.
    Thank you for your time.

    make sure changes you make are done in a child theme or else any changes you make will be lost next time you update. Never update core code in wordpress, always use a child theme as Wordpress officially states.
