Help! Need advice on Mic for Dragon Naturally Speaking Software.

Quick backstory:
I have been a lurking for a long long time now. I have mostly stuck to the download, adsense, offline marketing section. Day dreaming of the day when I could finally attempt my hand at the IM industry. I was planning on waiting until after uni simply because the classes cost a lot (about 3800-4000 per subject and I usually take 3 of those per semster and it is a three semester university) but news got out that I was doing some free lance IM stuff and a couple of students approached me to help them start a new business. To me it seemed like a unique opportunity, potentially the business could make a lot of money but there are high barriers to entering the market. 1 being capital and 2 being getting a good reputation and being reliable. The website should be no real problem since I have scouted the competition and I reckon given a couple of months we will be out ranking the international businesses (unless their using CPA but I'll cross that bridged when I come to it). Hoping to have something similar to an adsense authority site that we can also use to build a list and sell informational ebooks. And that brings me back to my original question.

My original question:
What mic is best used for the Dragon naturally Speaking software? I went to the download section and saw the [Get]-Dragon-Naturally-Speaking-v11-Premium-English thread.

Of course after doing a bit of research on DNS and reading a lot of bad things I am reluctant to try it. But hey it's free so at worst I will just have to reformat my laptop and use the in built windows speech software. If anyone has experience on a specific mic that can be obtained in Australia or within a few days that can be used with DNS I would appreciate it.

Also just so you know I am looking at a Sennheiser ME 3-EW headset EW microphone on Amazon for about $139.95 but it requires an 8-16 day wait

I have been using the Dragon tool for over a year now. I have had absolutely no problems, when I use a 5$ headphone or a 50$ one or even for that matter my 200$ one. So, the only concern is that the headphones should be comfortable for your ears, and that is about it. No other speicifcations concerning the headphones are required.

Awesome thanks for your response. If that's the case I think I will get something like a $50 head set to make things easier. Worse comes to worse I'll eventually get the above head set.

Can i just ask one more quick question. A lot of people have said that the newer dragon takes up a lot of resources and can sometimes be buggy, though you have had no problems, what are the "best practices" and best uses of dragon?

Don't sweat it unless u must. U can make thousands with a $15 headset. DNS is that advanced. If that's really true about the new Dragon buy an old one. Mine is 3 years old and perfect.

There are older versions of Dragon you might be able to buy on Ebay or "Amazon used".

Have been using the Version 12.0 for a while. Must say that you need hardware on the heavier side, mine runs on 8 GB, but the entire layout and the speech recognition is flawless. They have really up their game with this one.
