I'm going through something similar with my girl.

Ultimately if she is good for you she'll understand her man's goals and priorities.

If she just wants the good life without understanding the process she isn't worth bringing to the top. I told my girlfriend you need to determine whether you're interested in building a life with me vs just being a part of life. Some girls aren't interested in the building part they just want to be instantly apart of the ideal lifestyle they have imagined in their heads and that's fine. Its a difference of morals/personality and its my opinion that these types of people will ultimately never be happy as they always have their minds set on what they think is better.

Moral of the story steer clear of women like this.

Dear brother, first off all listen up, im bit older and have some experience. Girls come and go. The only thing that makes you feel attached to her is that it was a habit beeing with her. You are feeling like no other girl is like her etc even trough you talked only to some other girls. A broken hearth heals with time and a partying girl will not be a good girl for your future, a wife who does not support you on what you doing is not a good girl! Just move on in your life and do the things you used to do (you had a life before her right?) so don’t worry. Focus on yourself because now it’s the time to build for your future. The couples that party and travel now are the couples that do not improve in their life, financial situation and in the end , end up divorced. Build your carreer and girls will come and go and there will be a day you find another one and you will be thankfull because she will sure be better then the girl of now. I know it’s hard, but believe me. I also said “im gonna die without her” now im laughing about thinking of those times. Keep your head up and don’t let your future getting fucked up by one girl, as if she is the only girl in the world.

Might sound kinda cheesy but threads like this actually warm my heart. I love seeing the community rally around and support someone like this when they're going through something more than I can probably properly express. I didn't read every response in the thread but the overall vibe from what I did was great. I'd only echo what most everyone is saying and just keep your head up and stay on the grind. It seems like you got a good head on your shoulders and a bright future ahead of you so don't let anyone or anything drag you down or take away from your focus. You guys are just at different points in your life right now from the sounds of it, and there's nothing wrong with that, but there's a lot of other girls who are equally driven and/or would be happy to support you in the things you're doing so I think you made the right decision.
