[HELP] Hostgator VPS Level 3 plan for starting phpmotion/videosite?

Hello,

I read through a lot of hosting sites now and im more confused right now. some body host phpmotion on hostgator? can you recommend me hosting for phpmotion? need ffmpeg and good support.

I would not suggest you hostgator's VPS service for phpmotion site
Their traffic can get very busy resulting on high loading times.
When hostgator sees that your site is using a lot of traffic, they limit your throughput at only 4mbps

I do provide VPS's with 100mbps traffic at my hosting company : heyhost (dot) net and you'll get good support

Although there is no good support

why not purchase dedicated hardisk with few GB memory? VPS not enough, because you need to convert user uploaded video, handle webserver, etc
