Hello Friends, how do I create categories in the Category Creator? What are the *masks* used for?

If you ever have any questions about SER, you're always welcome to ask in the sales thread.

All you need to do is click the word "root" then the "add level" button and enter in your category.



If you want a sub-category, you can just click on the category you just added and then click "add level" and it will use the entered category as a subcategory.



So it will look like this:



The masks just allows you to find a related category easier.

The * = anything.

So if your category is "computer" and the website doesn't have a category for computer, but it has Mac Computers, having the * in front of the word would allow it to select that category. So it could be Mac computer, desktop computer, computer hardware, computer accessories, etc.

Kinda hard to explain but hopefully that makes sense.
