Crawl errors in google search console, there's so many now.

I did use yoast seo plugin and got effected in some way. Now I updated the plugin

www.mydomainname.com/postname/postname(repeats)

so the [post name repeats] idk how this is getting by the google and showing up 404 error.

I have plugin to check broken links but there's no issues there!

Anyone can give me some insights on how to solve this?

Do you have any 404 pages? Have you changed URL structure? If so, have you redirected all the URL to the right address?

Change permalinks back to default and again to post-name, and see if it solve anything.

I don't have 404 pages, Broken Link Checker plugin detects none

I didn't touch the permalink settings, I deleted all the tags though.

The search console shows 404 but when I copy the url on a browser it shows up an image I used in the post

What page are you getting errors? If the images it is ok
Almost all the posts, actually more, it is showing up 274 404s in the search console and I have around 80 blog posts

The urls are for each image I used in my posts. The problem is I lost all the ranking now because of this. And this is all happening all of sudden

EDIT: The error is not 404, it is 410

Can you now think of any solutions to this? Or I should just give it some time as I have updated the yoast plugin been a week only.

Google indexed the images because of the yoast error and now it can't find them. I think in a short while ranking will come back
