Hey guys I have some issues regarding google index in search console, and it'd be great if anyone has some experience regarding this.

So I've added my domain/site/property to Search Console, added sitemaps (This was done weeks ago), I've posted some content as well. However when I checked my indexed pages. There was only one. It was so weird. That indexed page wasn't even the content. I tried using the new search console and I found 82 Non-Indexed pages.

But when I checked it, the pages were literally random things. I can't even explain it. Here are some of them :

What's weird is I have a 2nd domain, registered at the exact same time, with a few pages of content, and it does great. It's already ranking in Google!

To explain this better, say this domain (the one with issues) is domain A, and the 2nd one (doing fine) is domain B.

The notes:
  1. Domain A and Domain B were registered in January. However, domain A was an expired domain, so it had some backlinks, giving this domain a DA of 11. So I expected it to be better at ranking.
  2. Domain B in the other hand is completely new domain. No history. But it is already indexed (correctly), and it is ranking in google. For 2 pages of content only!
  3. The other difference is the theme. I had purchased Domain A a premium theme, while I used the free theme for Domain B.
My options in solving this:
  • I remove property/site of Domain A from search console, and redo the Index again. Or
  • I completely remove everything from my site, and then reinstall wordpress, theme, plugins, and rewrite my content again. Or
  • Is there something wrong with the Theme that is causing this? Or
  • Does anyone know what is happening?
Maybe I should just buy a new domain. Worst case?

I honestly don't know what I should do. Thank you for your input. Anything is appreciated.

its saying your pages are using NOINDEX tag. What SEO plugin you are using? You can send me the site via PM to check 7 confirm the robot tags.

The thing is, those pages weren’t even mine. Those are not my content. And my pages/content are gone, it doesn’t exist.

Is it an expired domain you've bought ?

Like you've said, the domain is an expired domain. Likely, it already had records prior to you using the domain. When registering expired domains, it's best to inspect everything and not just depend on the DA value, IMO.

In most cases, it would even be better to just start from scratch especially if you're really trying to build a good site.

Yeah it was, but I didn't even buy it because it had history or because it was expired, I bought it because it had a good name, and the backlinks were a bonus in my part.

No I know that, but what I was meaning is it's showing cached pages " those pages weren’t even mine. Those are not my content. And my pages/content are gone, it doesn’t exist. " from the previous site.

So what should I do? When I first bought it, i did the same steps everyone does. I installed wordpress, the plugins, and created some content. There were no traces of previous content. At least that's what it looked like.

It was an error when I tried going to those pages.

Is that so? So how do you start from scratch again?

Just start with a new domain. A DA of 11 isn't that hard to earn if you are getting enough backlinks. Are those existing backlinks from the previous site actually good and relevant for your new site/content? If the domain had been previously flagged by Google, it might take longer to have it indexed again.

Anyway, given you've already set up the site, if you want then you can continue, but you may have to wait it out and see if it improves soon.

If you doing anything in the Gray area, best avoid thous tools.
