In this post, I would like to share a metric that I personally use when working with clients.
I will be talking about a metric called "Histats."
To start, this metric has no hold; to be precise, all the metric indicators it can provide will be visible to you immediately after integration into your website.
The interface of this metric includes:
- Real-time traffic monitoring on the website;
- Privacy control for each section of the metric (convenient if you need to provide access to the metric for your client or a third party for simultaneous real-time monitoring with you. To avoid unnecessary interference from the client or third party, you can set access rights);
- Tracking tags and user events;
- A real-time dashboard for managing multiple websites;
- Visitor geolocation;
- A very large and powerful log analyzer for in-depth data checking;
- Detailed reports in each section.
In fact, there are many features here, and it will be easier for you to familiarize yourself with them on your own.
The registration process for this metric is very simple; all you need is a username and password.
Integrating the metric is as easy as registering.
You need to:
1) Create a metric counter
2) Fill in the website details, such as:
- Your website's domain
- The website's direction (choose from the options provided)
- Your website's meta tags (Title and Description)
- Location
After that, you will be redirected to choose the design of the counter itself, meaning you can select how it will look on your website or make it invisible, completely hiding it so as not to spoil the visual aspect of your site, which is a big plus.
Next, you copy the counter code from the metric and integrate it into your website.
It is advisable to add the counter code to the root file - index(.)html in the <head> or <body>; if you do not see changes in the metric after integration in the <head>, try adding it to the <body>.
At this point, the process of integrating and setting up the metric counter is complete; the metric is on your site, and most importantly, it works!
I won't stretch this post; I will keep it concise, but I have tried to cover everything you need to know when working with this resource.
If there is already a post about this resource, please don't kick me; I am a new BHW user, and I tried to provide useful advice and share my experience.
That's all, thank you for your attention!
If you liked this post and found what you were looking for, I would appreciate your feedback.
Best regards, oSpectral!
Let me clarify right away, I am not promoting this resource! This post is strictly informative.
I will be talking about a metric called "Histats."
To start, this metric has no hold; to be precise, all the metric indicators it can provide will be visible to you immediately after integration into your website.
Hold (in this case) refers to the delay in displaying metric indicators in real-time.
The interface of this metric includes:
- Real-time traffic monitoring on the website;

At this point, the process of integrating and setting up the metric counter is complete; the metric is on your site, and most importantly, it works!
I also want to note that if another metric is already being used on your site, they will not conflict with each other, so don't worry about that.
