help for knowledge on penalty check before buying domains

The fact that domain is not in index means that the domain either has manual penalty or that it simply was down for too long and Google removed it from there. That does not mean that it won't get indexed again.

If it's auction domains then you want them at least partially indexed. If it's scraped, it's not necessary. And ideally you want homepage indexed, but inner pages do the trick too.

• More than 10 referring domains in AHREFS
  
  
• More than 33 Domain rating in AHREFS
  
  
• Clean anchor texts in AHREFS. No Chinese/Japanese spam, not many exact match anchors and not any Porn related anchors.
  
  
• The website used to have Organic Keywords AHREFS. I normally look for more than 10. Make sure you check both http and https versions
  
  
• Trust flow is more than 5
  
  
• CitationFlow/(TrustFlow*1.25) is as close to 0 as possible. We prefer higher TrustFlow rather than Citation flow.

• I check the Domain with web archive https://web.archive.org/ to track changes. I want to avoid Domains that were obviously used for PBNs, counterfeits, illegal activities, hacked.
  • I start from the latest date available and check each archive till the beginning.
• I check the Domain with http://www.screenshots.com/ to double check my first check
