Hey guys, I haven't been on here in a while so mods, please do excuse me if I do this completely wrong.

I have been working with a network for a few years and I feel for me to move on (and up) I need a new(ish) venture.

Basically, I receive press articles for the music and entertainment industry, and lots of them.

I was wondering if anyone had some time spare to guide me through the best way to utilize these articles.

Would I be best setting up a Blog that has a constant stream of music & entertainment news?

I also receive hundreds of Promotional CD's (currently have about 3k cds) and have started selling them to make some extra cash, however I don't do any promotion for them.

Anyone have any ideas?

Of course man.You should utilize the stream.I advice you to have a blog for official purposes. But keep it spreading through social network sites and video sites like youtube, vimeo etc.You have fuel, let lit up bro. :)

I was thinking of just setting up a blog, post the content on there and run Ads on it or something...

I have a blog set up so that if someone sends email to a particular address it auto posts to the blog. If all this stuff you receive is unique meaning its not published anywhere else on the internet already you could set up a blog the same way and make some cash from adsense on autopilot really.

If it's press articles, the articles you are receiving will most likely be put on hundreds of other sites yes?

If they are or will be you may see some traffic but the other sites will most likely rank above you because you're putting them on a brand new site whereas theirs is aged and has some authority.

If they are all unique to you, then you have a winner and should expect to make a nice bit of money. I highly doubt however they are written specifically for you regardless of what they say, use copyscape to check a few.

The next time you get an article google the title or a line from it in quotes and see if there are results. If there are then your articles are not unique. If there arent then they are unique. I am guessing they are not unique as not many.. no one mass sends unique content. Still I am guessing you are into music as if you wouldn't then you wouldn't have all this? Make a blog about Music auto feed these articles into it and ad your own unique articles and you can make some cash.

I was thinking of putting it on autofeed to an email so it posts, however the press articles have alot of private links and contact addresses that are not for public use, so I have to manually post them up.

Some of the articles get posted, but not many. I've checked quite a few of them on copyspace and not many are online.

See above.

What are you using to do this?
Is it any of these?

I have an idea for a site but was just wondering which plugin was better.

Hi, I'll recommend that you collate a colossus amount of articles, not yet published in any websites, an plan ahead on the scheduling dates. This will reduce your workload as these articles are automatically scheduled at your convenience and just continue to produce quality articles

If these articles are unique (not published on other sites), you should definitely set up a blog and publish them. If the articles are any good, you might soon have yourself a popular blogazine.

Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted, but I'm just bumping this one back up to the top again to see if someone with a fresh pair of eyes can offer any advice.
