Hehehe not at all buddy you just missed it, I some times tend to open a bunch of pages while multitasking and some times miss other's people reply due to that fact that I will only see the new messages once I post and update the page

Back on the issue, my normal visitors are again affected by 'Authentication required' popup whenever they visit a page. I have disabled everything in .htaccess of /wp-admin folder and now that annoying popup is gone. I am not sure why that popup is showing on every page when my visitors are not trying to access /wp-admin folder?

I'm interested and skeptical both. No one here seems spammy, scammy or dishonest, so it's either legit or someone is making an honest mistake.

At this point, it seems to me that the cloudflare security is a different animal than cloudflare content delivery network. I can't see how the two could be combined. How does sending images from various sources to browsers that request them dovetail in any way with securing a websites password? Unless it's doing some kind of traffic monitoring and decides at some point that the requests for it's data are not legit. Hmm. Maybe too many requests from a single IP. I mean, I can see to a point how cloudflare would be interested in not delivering more data than it needs to as it's paying for bandwidth, etc... so if some hacker is repeatedly requesting the same data over & over again it would be running cloudflare's usage up and causing it some trouble, so I guess it "feels" legit. I'll do some more reading about it.

As an FYI, installing cloudflare the content delivery network is a really good idea as it boosts your sites page download time, which gets a + from Google in the SERPs when compared to sites that are slow.

I am blocking IPs but I have never notified my hosting about it.
And yes, I am making backup.
