Duh, a French name. I'm not French. The name's just a character from a TV Show 'Reign'.
I'm actually a teenager from Pakistan.
And yes, like most members here, I have a desire to make money. As well as a gazillion other goals, which I will probably mention some of from time to time.
But I'm not an ass. And I will try to contribute as much as I can to the forum in my capacity, instead of just seeking advice.
I am in the last year of high school right now. And will probably be heading to medical college next year, God Willing.
I work as a freelance writer from time to time. I made over 150$ on Fiverr, but transferred them to Payoneer. Now, as I don't have a official address for where I'm living right now, I have to wait at least until next year to get the Payoneer card and use those 150$. :/
But, apart from that, I have 2-3 direct local clients, whom I'm making money off from time to time. It's not that much, but I enjoy writing, and therefore money is just a secondary factor. And money has greatly reduced as there is so much competition right now.
I plan to establish 1-2 businesses before I leave medical college.
Why am I going into medical? My parents have this unending desire to see me become a doctor. And I also don't hate the prospect.
The only bad thought is that doctors have to work tirelessly till they are 50 or so and such stuff. Another reason is that unlike America and others, my country is not a welfare state, therefore if I don't get a professional degree, and also cannot establish a business, then either I'd be running off my parents' money or out in the streets.
Therefore, I'm getting a professional degree as a backup. However, if I establish a successful business in 5 years, then I am most likely to continue with business as the main thing.
So that when I get a job in a hospital or stuff, I'm only doing it for the service and stuff. Not as a necessity. As Jim Rohn says, I want to become 'financially independent'.
Um, I don't think people write so much in their introductory posts, but I thought that I'd start off my posts with a bang. xd
It will be an honor to be a member of this forum and communicating with such great fellow members. I look forward to being an active and contributing member of this forum.
