Hello to all. I like surfing and reading posts on this forum and now i am finally a part of it.
I would like to start with telling you guys about my setup:
My friend has an adsense account, he also has a website, he's put a publisher system into the website and i am a publisher on it.
The website has an rpm of 20 dollars, a cpc of 0.51 and a CTR of 3.84 - 4% most days. I have a base of over 3 million followers on twitter and i use them to direct traffic to the website articles (basically a gallery of articles like - 10 break up texts, How to make him fall for you, Bald celebs and so on)
I make about 500 a day and 25% of my earnings go to my friend.
The thing is i made my own website and was never able to receive such rpm or cpc on it. I was using an adsense i had from long back. Does the adsense account make a difference? I know for a fact my website was very well built. Did the fact that i was on shared hosting lead to my downfall? Cause when i redirect traffic there are sudden spikes in visitors on the site and then none at all otherwise.
So since my website didn't work out i started using my friends again but giving over that 25% is killing me. Any advice or thoughts on the above? Also if i do go with my own site is their anyway to make it better or more active.
