Having Issue With Backlinks. Is It Normal ?

Hi Fellows,
Just 3 days ago once i check my back links on Google Webmaster tools. It was good then. My problem is when i rechecked yesterday i found there 17 in old page mode and 56 in new webmaster tools backlinks showing. I am not sure why its happened.Its still Happening.
Can any body help me to understand what is happening there? Have i lost backlinks or it just a bug and will be fixed soonest and i will get back my lost links?
Please help me to understand whats going on.

So you are saying you had 17 links showing and now 56 ?

Are you doing any off page linking still?

I just check now. Google search console saying today total Backlinks are 12 only. On the new version and Old version of Google Search console.
Can you explain what is happening?
Yes i did few days ago.

I'd leave it a few days and then check again.

If you bought these links, check the report manually to see what are live etc.

Without getting a detailed insight as to what you have done with your seo, I am only offering an opinion my friend.

As I said, speak to whoever you bought the seo service from, get a report and manually check to see which are indexed and live etc.
