You can see engagment rate of that video,
Does anyone know or aware about what he is doing ?

cricket is very popular in England, Australia, and in other Asian countries like India, Pak, Bangladesh, etc so the video gets natural tractions for test appearance, and it's doing good

and it will be taken down for copyrights strike, soon or later; till then the uploaders have to figure out to make use of that traffic

but his channel was created on 19th dec and for any new channel like this it is nearly impossible to get such many views,
i think he used some blackhat stuff

All I think was, the video was shared on a big niche relevant social media, as there were relevant comments on it
 
maybe he just have a lot capital. and do bigs promotion for his video.

it's not nearly impossible. there are several fresh channels that blow up by luck within a few days of posting

It is a churn and burn channel. Sport highlight channel tends to get lots of views. They buy monetized channels, upload, earn money till channel get striked. When their channel gets down, they buy another and repeat the process.
 
I have vidiq premium so i ran his videos through it and hes not ranking for any keywords, his seo score is 6/100 and has zero tags

He must be posting it on forums/SM and when it got few 1000s he would be getting into suggested videos.
