For reels, is it best to use smaller hashtags, or a combination of big and small hashtags if you are a small account?

What are the best tools for finding hashtags?

Do you have to switch up your hashtags every post, so that IG doesn't block you? Can you rotate them, so you use the same set of hashtags every 3 posts for example?

Look interesting, i follow this post.
From my experience, i've never found a good way to explode on IG (11.5k atm)

Use a combination of the big and small hashtags.
You need to make a set of hashtags and use it randomly and analyze which set of hashtags works great for you.

So far I have not had any issues with using the same hashtags for all posts.

On reels i've been using the same #'s for months and seen no issues (currently 37k) and I often go viral on reels & although it's seems more timing and content based when i've tested other sets of #'s the reels have actually performed worse so I just stick to the same. The trick I learnt and always used is 5-8 #'s relevant to your content (my strategy is 5 popular relevant tags to your niche (example for my niche #viral, #reels, #tiktok etc) then 1-3 #'s keyword related tags to the post (in my case I make relatable content with text on screen so typically use words used on screen & then reuse those same keywords in the caption too).

My content typically includes similar/the same keywords so my set of tags is usually always the same but sometimes the 1-3 keyword related #'s change.

Hope this helps

Using a combination of both small and big hashtags is better, more small hashtags.
Rotation is needed, repeating the same hashtags over and over will be seen as "spammy"

To find hashtags there are a ton of sites that can help you with that, just need to do a simple google search.
