Okay, so something really strange happened today. I received a check that states it is from a Hanson vs. Google Settlement Fund. It was a class action lawsuit that obviously Google lost and they sent me a check. I really do not have a clue what it is about and am about to research it now and will update. It has something about AdWords in there so it must have to do with that I'm guessing.

Okay, so it looks like this is the same case as from 2009 but why am I only getting the check now? Almost 3 years after it was settled. Is everyone just now receiving them or am I on a late bus for receiving the check?

I got two checks the other day, one in my name and one in the name of a website I sold in like 09. They were small enough not even to be worth depositing.

Never trust what you read from the BBB. Ironically the BBB is one of the largest "legitimized" scams in the USA. You can buy your way to a clean record no matter who you are.

These law suits are just lawyers jacking up their fees. They start a class action fully aware that most people will get F#$% all payment because their fees get paid first! Similar happened to me back in late 90's with yahoo I didn't even know I was in the court case then some lawyer sent me a payment for $2.30. I looked into it the law firm made 1.2mill from the action in fees.

Lawyers the bottom feeders of society!

I got my check two days ago for $0.37; I threw it away. I kind of felt insulted that they even bothered to send it.

I got one for $10.34 so I just deposited it. Had not clue what the settlement was about.

Yeah seems like a lot of people are receiving checks. Just did a google search and people are like "wtf is this about". lol

I have got $12.31 check from them. But i am not sure, what can i do with it? Lol

I will just keep it, because of bank check clearing fees, it does not even cost me a cup of coffee.

I got one for 87 cents.

Definitely not going to go out of my way to deposit it, but next time I'm going to the bank for something else, I'll take it along.

I meet with a round table any my friends. They also did this. But my bank is clearly ignore me.

at least make google pay for them
