Had My First IG Account Banned using FL After 16 Months

Did you update FL recently? FL has detectable patterns in requests.

Hahaha. Of course Instagram is using some algorithms to scan suspicios accounts. If the bots are getting better and Instagram has problems detecting them for suspicious usage, they have to also scan long time usage and usage patterns. And that my friend is done by algorithms, yes.

My advice: Don't use the bot 20 hours a day. Maybe 6 hours with some larger breaks. Don't bot every day. Don't bot on the exact time patterns every day - shift a little bit.

ROFL@6 hours a day. Where the hell I bought the bot for.

For sure if I put my 24hr activity in a 6hr bracket, IG would banned the shit out of me.

As others said, it's easy. Do what a normal user would do. At best a hardcore user will do 0-50likes and 0-40 follows a day (always changing). With some days off.
That's not 2012-13 anymore. Step up your game.

Well, that's your decision and that is totally fine. But the risk is higher. If you want to grow your accounts safe then you need to think about your usage patterns. If you are botting 6 hours a day, that would be 180 hours per month. 180 hours of full automation. I think it's still worth it. If you have 20 accounts, that would be 3600 hours. That would be impossible to accomplish without a bot.

Let me clarify some things.
You did not get banned because of your settings.
You got banned for spamming/abusing of the acc FOR 16 MONTHS.

Dude, dont talk about algo if u have no idea how's work, u're confusing people.

so, what you recommend?

give breaks of days or weaks doing nothing?

Agree that you need to do it safe, but growth with 6hrs per day botting is a pain in the ass, even with 20 accounts. You achieve nothing with it, few followers here and there. I aim for 1500-1600 actions per account per day, that would be 1 action every 13-14 seconds continously for 6hrs....that's a no-go setting for me :)

I can totally understand you. But aiming for 1.500 to 1.600 actions per day may be already suspicious. You better aim for a greater spectrum like 900 to 1.700 actions per day. That looks less like a bot. And I admit, 6 hours are maybe a little bit exaggerated. I think you can go up to 10 hours a day without problems. But no real human beeing is using Instagram for more than 10 hours everyday. And of course human beeings take a lot of breaks over the day. Actually it's not that hard for Instagram algorithms to figure out a usage pattern and I'm sure we will see a huge ban wave in the future.

Is it possible to have FL to "Randomize" actions?
Like, 1 day to follow X amount of People, during Y amount of time.
On day 2, follow Z amount of People, during YZ amount of time and comment XYZ pictures?

This way it would be impossible for IG to actually catch on the accounts using FL..

Are you saying that from experience using IG and getting an account banned or just common sense?

I am saying it from experience with APIs and software automation, as well as some expertise in data analysis (i.e. pattern spotting).
