Wanted to share and see if anyone has had similar experience recently. I am very conservative with output and have over 50 accounts. This account was 16 months old and I've been using FL the whole time, since the beginning. My settings when I had the account banned was approx. Following/Unfollowing 75 per day (spread out 300-400 seconds, each) Liking 100-150 per day (spread out 70-80 seconds), shuffling tasks and running for 20 hours per day. Same proxy for last year.

Out of the blue the account was banned on 2/12 and I've been unable to get Instagram to restore or explain the reason for the ban other than "violating terms."

Anyone else have a similar experience? Also feel that there are a lot more ERR lately...

There has been quite a few bans and errors using FL lately. The bans aren't just from FL, but MP, Instagress, and manual as well. But I can confirm there has been quite a few errors from FL lately on my end.

Sign into the banned account using a mobile device. Not sure exactly what the options are I don't remember but there should be an option to appeal to the case and there's a chance the account ban can be lifted. I tried it on my 2 week old account at the time and took about a week to get lifted.

Just a suggestion, good luck!

How many accounts do you have on that same proxy?

only 1. I have all my accounts on their own proxy.

Thank you. I did and actually exchanged emails with a representative there until they just stopped answering....

What did you say when you had to fill out a reason why you are appealing?

20 hours a day on Instagram? Right there it would tell any algorithm that it's not a human.

Let me clarify some things.
You did not get banned because of your settings.
You got banned for spamming/abusing of the acc FOR 16 MONTHS.

Dude, dont talk about algo if u have no idea how's work, u're confusing people.

For the bans that are hitting manual users, assuming it's not content related, wouldn't you get a block first?

Anything higher than 3 - 4 hours per day is probably considered excessive. Probably better to align your posting activity with peak activity times for the country you're targeting too.

Did you honestly not expect it to get banned running it for 16 months @ 20 hours a day (using the same setting for 16 months)?

I'm not saying I wasn't expecting it, I just tried to be cautious, knowing that theres always a risk. I've seen others post about their accounts being banned for a lot more abuse and also a lot less. Just wanted to let the community know about this ban so maybe I could help someone else avoid.

Are you saying that from experience using IG and getting an account banned or just common sense?

I always stop FL around 8pm when it's bed time for me. Usually I just run it from 4am - 8pm, then pause it 2-3 times for 30 minutes to 1 hour in between those times. I also change the settings all the time.

same here dude, i got an account that has 7k followers and i spent like a month to build it, and i got banned 2 days ago, it sucks ._. the account was created like 2014 i think.
it's only 1 acc, i dont use multiple account.

Why do you think it got banned? Were you botting it?

sometimes people have to understand that settings being too conservative isn't the right option, too. it's about finding the sweet middle spot. If I was you, I'd take a break from time to time and just let it cool down for a few days. I think that can't harm (even if you don't get any profit either), because there are some days a human won't enter IG. You won't lose followers for pausing your account from time to time a bit.

I know we all wanna gain fast, but sometimes fast isn't the right way either.

I also got banned a few days ago. It's life, if the account means something to you, try to apply back, always act ignorant not knowing what has happened, cry for your account, play a role towards the representatives and it might work. If not, move on. Create a new one an learn from it.

Lmao you don't know any more than he does. You need to stop acting like you know so much.

Hahaha. Of course Instagram is using some algorithms to scan suspicios accounts. If the bots are getting better and Instagram has problems detecting them for suspicious usage, they have to also scan long time usage and usage patterns. And that my friend is done by algorithms, yes.

My advice: Don't use the bot 20 hours a day. Maybe 6 hours with some larger breaks. Don't bot every day. Don't bot on the exact time patterns every day - shift a little bit.
