[Hacked pc] most likely

Hey everyone,

I need your help, my pc got most likely hacked.

Im not sure if it is or not. Nevertheless, the behaviour of my laptop is a little bit weird.

The text is missing in the programs, files etc.
Once I turn it on, ill share a screenshot.

I have immediately turned off any possibility to let it connect to the internet.

I have downloaded a antivirus from my phone and put it into my pc via cable. However i cant Install the antivirus since the text is everywhere missing.

Have anyone of you similar experience?

What I would advise is reinstalling the software and consider getting a Mac, because I stopped worrying about such problems (any viruses, whatsoever) after I purchased one.
 
You should do a factory reset and reinstall the operating system. And btw, apple products can also get viruses, like a mac. I have seen so many people saying that its easier to get viruses on windows than mac and android than iphone, even though it is not true.
 
Little update

I've restarted the pc put it into a offline mode and start running deep antivirus scan.

This scan will take up to 4 hours. Ill let you know with the results.
 
ive run win7 8 yrs and every few days i right click my task manager
my pc is set up with 38 bootable processors
if i see 40-41 ect with nothing running/open on deskt top
im straight out searching them out in offline mode and ridding
them, its weather u have the know how

Wait what lol? Getting a MAC will fix it all lol?

The reason why there are so many "hackers" for windows is because windows is getting so much more used then Apple. That's the reason why windows is most of the time the main target.
 
Post a screenshot if possible. Assuming the scan doesn’t solve it.
 
i bet you or software you installed fukedup something in system files.

I let the antivirus search for any programs what could harm my pc.

It found only one name: BV:Agent-AXN [PUP] the file: cpuminer-conf.json, previous location: C:\Windows\System32

I have absolutely no idea what it is.



So far it looks alright, I'll keep you updated if the text will disappear once again.


For the people, that I've downloaded some bad file.

I'm being very cautious what I open/download. That is why I got so surprised, when it hapend.

Anyway thanks for each help!

I do the same thing pretty much, I sniff them out
 
Malwarebytes is best its scans every day when pc boots up

Looks like a coin miner. I would transfer out all important files and do a clean installation of windows just to be 100% safe.
 
If coin miner then it can be easily process stopped and miner file can be deleted. You can download autoruns from Microsoft and uncheck all suspicious processes. Check if you find any suspicious process using process explorer from Microsoft/sysinternals.

Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit (Free)
Kaspersky TDSSKiller(Free)
Zemana AntiMalware Portable(Free)
HitmanPro(Free)

Run it in that order and you're good to go. Has never failed me on any computer.

Once done:
Download all Windows Updates
Download DriverGenius or DriverBooster - update all drivers
Download CCleaner and clean up junk files and registry

Done.
