I design the books and then outsource the writing.
Sounds good. It took me 2-3 weeks, to release a book.
Could you elaborate on this more? What all do you have to do in the design to then outsource it ?

The key to making money on KDP is knowing which genres sell.
So I spend my time researching genres and then coming up with book ideas for each which I feel will generate me an income of at least $3000 per book per year.
I then outsource the writing of the books, this is the most time consuming part, while I move onto designing the next book.
I get the book back, make any edits, sort the cover design out and upload to KDP.
Outsourcing the writing enables me to manage multiple books at once and hence why I can upload a book a day and that can increase to 2 or 3 depending on how hard I want to work.
Think more like a publisher than an author.

But if you use createspace doesn't that limit your kindle earnings to 30%?

I publish both fiction and non fiction.
It is not what you write that is important it is whether or not there is demand for it.

I have an ebook how to pick up women but only get about 20 sales a year I dont konw really how you get all your sales

You really just need to identify the keywords that users are actively searching for, and that present a good chance for you to obtain sales.
Imagine all of the Kindle shoppers throwing money down a stream, that stream is the group of keywords that they're searching for and spending money in. If you put your book up close to the stream, you'll get splashes of money here and there but nothing major. However, if you slam that book dead center in the stream then all of a sudden you're getting flooded with buyers because you're in the right place.

Don't get preoccupied with page length, people don't go to a movie and value it based on how long the movie was, the value is in the information/entertainment it gives.

How many eBook per pen name do you release? I always thought it's good to have as many books as possible under one pen name so you can cross promote them better. I also thought that if you have an Author Profile set up, it should help with rankings/sales, but it seems that Amazon ranking algorithm doesn't care about it.
Also, do you try to dominate a niche, or do you publish eBooks in various categories?

In respect of pen names I use one across one niche and then different pen names for different niches.
I try to dominate a niche but I do it over various categories, so I guess both.
I concentrate on publishing the book ASAP with the right keywords, description etc and leave the marketing to Amazon and do not really do anything else, other than having my own websites.
