[Guide] Text Message Marketing For Dummies

I've been involved with some of the largest mobile subscription, ring-tone-delivery, and live voting mobile programs of all time (millions < 24hr), as well as a large scale contact management w/ SMS, as well as everything marketing wise from geo-targeted SMS for Fortune companies, to some more 'shady' bulk marketing. I'll pick up any Q's from this point on if anyone has 'em..

What would be the cheapest way to obtain SMS subscribers? Thks

Sent out a bunch of sms, it all got blocked by the carrier. He said it was my opt out message that blocked it, maybe the word STOP in caps. Whats a good clean opt out message that wont get blocked

For months now, I keep purchasing a weekly package of 150 SMS. I don't even use 1/3 of it, & I've been thinking of ways how to use this number. It's not big, I know but it's going to waste. I read the whole thread & searched on BHW, but the main (& only) idea is nightclubs. I'll keep thinking of ways.

Has anyone ever experimented with reverse message billing subscriptions after capturing the email/phone numbers online? I have an idea about getting tons of emails and phone numbers that opt-in for a niche service and then sending out a monthly "special". I know there was some stuff about this method a while back where lawsuits occurred, but my method would be double opt-in, so they couldn't say, "I never signed up for that" . Has anyone done this?
