Like the steps I usually do, I think you just need to log in to your profile and send the invitation to your email and you accept and you're done.

Yeah, Facebook accounts for its users travelling every now and then so if your IP changes sometimes, there's no issue. If it occurs too frequently and the places are waaay too far, then there's gonna be a noticeable issue there. In general yeah, take your time when it comes to these things and spread out activities (particularly automated ones) over the course of the day since a shorter timeframe is easily noticed by their algo.
