Hey, This is RK and In this thread I'm going to discus about Instagram Engagement and I will share some important factors that will help you to Boost Your Instagram Engagement.
1) USE NEW FEATURES -
When you use any new feature then Instagram rewards you for that. As you know that, Instagram releases new updates more often, and when you use those features then IG will give you more reach on your post & more reach will lead to more engagement. Now let me show you, How this thing works.
When you use any new feature, then your followers will come to know that Instagram has released this feature. And after that more and more people are going to use that feature. So indirectly Instagram is getting promotion from you because you are promoting their new feature in front of your audience. So this is why you will get a lot more reach when you use new features of Instagram.
Let me give you some examples.
So the first example is - Instagram story.
When Instagram stories were first launched, then they were having more engagement then normal post. Because they want every user to use story feature. And when you use IG story on your page then it will encourage your followers to use this feature as well, so its an ongoing Chain.
The next example is - Instagram live.
When you go live on Instagram, then your followers will get a notification that you are going live.Have you ever thought why Instagram do that?
They do this because, your followers will stay more on their platform and will use this feature.
And last example is - IG TV
Instagram released IGTV so that people can upload longer videos form their page.
They have Increased the video time limit because earlier you can only upload video of 1 minute. But now you can upload longer videos.
Suppose if a user watch a video of 10 minute now , then that means that user will stay 10 times more on their platform. So if you use IGTV then you will observe that you will get more engagement & Instagram will boost that post for you in front of your audience because ultimately Instagram Is going to get benefit from it.
So make sure that you use all the new features released by Instagram and they will reward you for that
2) ENGAGEMENT GROUPS
You can use engagement groups to boost your engagement. So for those who don’t know what is an engagement group, basically it is a group of people which are into similar niche as yours and everyone will exchange engagement that is likes and comment.
How It Works?
First of all you will post something on your account, and after that you will share that post in all the Engagement groups and then everyone will like as well as comment on your post, and it will ultimately lead to more Engagement.
This is an effective way to grow your account because when pages with similar niche engage with your content then Instagram will think that your content must be good because other pages are Engaging with your post in short interval of time. They might put that post on Explore page as well, and it will help you to get targeted followers as well.
So make sure that you use engagement groups.
3) ENGAGE BACK
Engaging with your followers is really important because it plays a major role in your engagement.
When you post something then you will receive comments on that post. And when you reply to those comments then it will affect the engagement.
So make sure that you reply to all the comments on your post as soon as possible.
And when you post anything on your story, let it be a picture or video, then you will get lot of replies, and when you will reply back them, Then your story engagement will also increase. Because Instagram stories are placed in such a way that if you engage with anyones story then you will see their story first as compared to others.
So make sure that you post something that people would love to engage and also make sure that your response time is also less because it will help you a lot
4) TRICKS
There are some tricks that you can use to boost your engagement.
The first trick is, you can share the post in your story and hide that via sticker and mention ( checkout my recent post ), so basically this will make your followers curious to check your recent post.
And after that, the next trick that you can use is, In caption mention your followers to tag someone, basically its an call to action. And it mainly works on memes account. But you can use this is any niche your want.
But one thing that you need to make sure is, your content must be good enough.Because if your content will not be good then it will not work And suppose if your followers tag their friends on that post, then you will have more engagement as well as more followers.
And the last trick is, Tell your followers to turn on notification. You should encourage your followers to turn on the notification because some of your followers might not be able to see your content in their feed but if they have turned on their notification then they will get a notification whenever you will upload a new photo or video on your page. So encourage your followers to turn on notification .
So just follow these steps and you will see a boost in your Instagram engagement.
