Hey guys, I have 5 easy keywords I want ranked. My competitor is dominating the first page with crappy backlinks. They have their FB page, main page, and inner pages on the 1st page. I was going to buy relevant guest post with DA 20+

Should I use my main URL and 1 keyword for all 5 guest post (post are on all different websites). or should I use my main URL and 5 different keywords for the guest post?

    Suggestions?

Personally I’d optimise the page then use 5 different keywords - longtail or partial match or brand. Then see what happens. Otherwise you’ll be over optimised straight away.

Thanks! This is an eCommerce website so not much content on the homepage. My competitor is ranking for long tail keywords that are easy to rank and get monthly searches between 20-1100. I optimized all the images, page title, and meta description. I feel the competitor is just ranking better than me because of the DA... I could be wrong... not the best in SEO

Yea, for ecom then; make sure internal linking structure is good and it’s easy to navigate from homepage to categories to product pages.

Optimise all images, titles etc like you have done.

Put some effort into product pages in terms of decent length and unique descriptions, product specs, product reviews etc.

Then push those guest posts at homepage, keep the anchors to brand and longtails and the juice will filter down to products. Then you can do few similar posts to the category and product pages as well if required.

Optimize all websites that you can possibly optimize. I suggest that you apply 1% keyword density to your main keywords when writing your articles. If you have secondary keywords, mention them 1-2 times within the body of your article. Always make sure that you are providing high quality content. -Micah

Go for the main url and 5 different keywords. And go for guest posting sites with DR 40+.

Are you talking about anchor text or just the target?

If anchor text I would only use brand and URL for guest posts. Maybe LSI.

If target then yes, all to the same one.

Your competitor is probably hiding their powerful links from crawlers so you can't see what actually ranked them.
