GSA Search Engine Ranker worth it?

Well I just wrote sven and:

a) He thinks the manual is very complete.
b) No forum coming.

Oh well. Gonna have to figure out everything the hard way.

I guess the manual seems complete for somebody that created the software. lol.
How are you guys using proxies? I have tried the option were gsa harvests proxies to use and it makes the program run really slow. Is anybody using decaptcher services?
 
Im using DeathByCaptcha and been doing 3k per day
And Im not getting that many links at present using the built in proxy harvester
 
Is there a discount for this software? I am about to purchase it
 
How much are you paying for death by capcha? And is it worth it, do the links verify or is it waisting a lot of capchas? I was looking all over and couldnt find any coupon codes.

Same prob with emails.
 
Have you tried these settings for gmail? I have set up two gmail accounts using them without any problem

Setting up gmail accounts to use with Pligg

Pop3-server pop.gmail.com
Port 995
use ssl tick

Then just add your email and password
 
I don't use the built-in proxy thing. I'm using semi-shared proxies with buyproxies . org instead.
 
If your posting to forums, check your settings.
Two separate computers Im running GSA on, both have GSA links appearing in the drop down box with the links you post.
Just checked over 40 profiles and the all have the link there in the one you can rotate

Yeah I saw that. It is a little sneeky how they hid it in there.

Yea, I noticed this as well - 'sneaky'? nahhh, I would have done the same thing if it were my app! after all its down to the user to be vigilant with the settings isn't it??!:toddieg-s
 
Any ideas how many threads i could run on 90 private proxies and a vps with these specs?

• Dual Core 2.66Ghz Intel
• 1GB Burstable Memory
• 120 GB HD Space (RAID 10)
• Unmetered 100mbps speeds

Running the tool on 100 threads here but somehow i get poor results with blogs and the bookmarks?

Is it just me or are the results much poorer lately?
 
I seem to be getting poor results lately too. Currently running 4 projects and am lucky if I get 12 total links a day...

Strange indeed...
 
Yep then it's not just me.

It's strange because two days ago I set up a campaign to see how many links I could get in 24 hours and I got 5098 submitted and 1561 verified. That was a mix of all platforms.

Today I started a new one and it just seems to be crawling and building links extremely slow. I'll shoot Sven an email and see what's going on.

BTW i copied the wrong vps specs as mine is bigger but that doesnt matter too much...

K Thought i was the only one. Im sure Sven will look into this next thing in the morning. Man does that guy even have a social life i sometimes wonder ;)

Not really I just made that up but at least it sounded good.

Ya hopefully tomorrow we'll see a new update and the software will be back to performing SEO ownage.
 
Okay, I thought something was up. I turned on social bookmarking and ended up with like 5 after 12 hours or so.

Should I be turning the PR checker when doing the social bookmarks though? Maybe that's why I'm getting a low amount of bookmarks as well?

I always turned off the PR checker when submitting to the social bookmarks because the majority of them are PR0 or N/A anyways.
 
Verified social bookmark links are down the drain since the weekend here...

Ah well lets see what happens tomorrow.
